  8. 1. What is NetmuFS.
  9.  
  10. NetmuFS is a package of support utilities for MultiUser (muFS) in a network
  11. environment. Currently only the Envoy network software is supported; when I 
  12. have time enough I plan to add support for AmiTCP as well.

  14. 2. What's in it
  15.  
  16. Currently contained:
  17.  
  18. - a new accounts.library (see subdirectory accounts)
  19. - a remote login facility (see subdirectory rlogin)
  20. - a debug.library, that has nothing in particular to do with muFS or envoy,
  21.   but is useful for debugging (because that #@!?& cpr does not like my
  22.   library init code)
  23.  
  24. Planned (and coming RSN (TM) :-):

  26. - a truly multiuser-capable network filesystem (NetmuFS :-)

  28. 3. Legal stuff
  29.  
  30. The NetmuFS package is freeware. You may redistribute only the unchanged
  31. original archive. The source is included for your enlightenment :-), but
  32. *under no circumstances* you may distribute a modified version of the 
  33. source or the executables. (If you find bugs, inform me, *I* will fix them.)

  35. There is *absolutely no warranty*.
